In order to ensure that you are fully aware of how your data will be processed, stored and shared as part of your application to Eurovia UK Limited and any subsidiary companies in the UK (herin called ‘the Organisation’) please read the below statement carefully.


Omni Resource Management Solutions Limited (herin called ‘Omni’) is the dedicated recruitment partner of the Organisation, and will be, alongside the Organisation, managing the recruitment process.  Omni will also be managing the applicant portal – Appellia.

The Organisations registered office is: Albion House, Springfield Road, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 2RW, registered company number: 02884116. The Organisation act as a data controller.


What personal information will be collected? 

We take great care to ensure that the information it holds about you meets legal, statutory and contractual obligations and is held securely.  This includes having appropriate procedures and practices in place to ensure your personal information is protected.  


We will collect and process personal information that you provide as part of the application and recruitment process.  


This may include your:  

  • name, address and contact information, including email address and telephone number; 

  • details of your qualifications, skills, experience and employment history; 

  • information about your current level of remuneration, including benefit entitlements;  

  • Whether or not you have a disability, where the Organisation is required to make reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process; and 

  • Information about your entitlement to work in the UK.


We collect information in the following ways  

  • Online application form or CV 

  • Over the phone or in person  

  • From Recruitment Agencies 

  • Obtained through your passport or other identity documents 

  • Other forms of assessment, including online tests


Equal opportunities monitoring  

As part of the Organisation’s commitment to employing a diverse workforce, we will send you an equal opportunities monitoring form by email at the point of application submission.  This is entirely optional.  All information is collected anonymously and is not linked in any way to your application Further information on how this data is collected and used will be provided at the point of collection. 


How we use your personal data 

We take your privacy very seriously and will never disclose, share or sell your data without your consent, unless required to do so by law. We only retain your data for as long as is necessary and for the purposes specified in this notice. Where you have consented to us providing you with promotional offers and marketing, you are free to withdraw consent at any time.  The purposes and reasons for processing your personal data are detailed below:

You also have the right to request erasure of your personal data or to restrict processing in accordance with data protection laws, as well as to object to any direct marketing from us and to be informed about any automated decision-making that we use.

Sharing and Disclosing Your Personal Information 

We do not share or disclose any of your personal information without your consent, other than for the purposes specified in this notice or where there is a legal requirement. 


Omni and the Organisation use third parties to provide the below services and business functions. However, all processors acting on our behalf only process your data in accordance with instructions from us and comply fully with this privacy notice


Our Service Providers  

This includes external third-party service providers such as accountants, auditors, legal advisors and other outside professional advisors; IT systems support and hosting service providers; technical engineers; data storage and cloud providers; internal reporting software providers, recruitment agencies and other similar third-party vendors and outsourced service providers that assist us in carrying out our business activities. 


International Transfers of Personal Information  

Personal information which you supply to us is generally stored and kept inside the European Economic Area.  However, due to the nature of the technologies required, your personal information may be transferred to third party service providers outside the EEA.  In such situations, Omni transfer the minimum amount of data necessary, anonymise it where possible and enter legal contracts to aim to ensure those third parties handle your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy and European levels of data protection. 


Technical and Organisational Measures 

Omni and the Organisation take your privacy seriously and we take every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure your personal data. We work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place


Consequences of Not Providing Your Data  

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide your personal information to Omni or the Organisation; however, as this information is required for us to consider an application, we will not be able to consider you for vacancies without it. 


How long will you keep hold of my information? 

If your application is successful, the applicant portal (Appellia) will store your information for a period of 12 months.  Your record will then be deleted.  As an employee, the Organisation will continue to process your information for the duration of your employment and retain your information in line with their record retention policies.  


If your application is unsuccessful and no further application or contact is made for 12 months, your application will be deleted. 


Where you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we will keep such data for 12 months from the point of your application or until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.


Special Category Data  

Owing to the services we offer, Omni and the Organisation sometimes need to request sensitive personal information from you for the purpose of work finding services and enabling employment (Article 6(1)(f) and Article 9(2)(b) of the GDPR). Where we collect sensitive personal data, we will only request the information required for the specified purpose.


Lodging a Complaint 

Omni and the Organisation only process your personal information in compliance with this privacy notice and in accordance with the relevant data protection laws. If, however you wish to raise a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data or are unsatisfied with how we have handled your information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the  ICO
