Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;
Installing / Maintaining Highways Electrical Equipment & Traffic Signal equipment
Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;
The work is based on installing Street Lighting equipment / LED lanterns / Cut-outs / Feeder Pillars. We are recruiting an apprentice at the moment, so the applicants will be taking the apprentice under their wing at some stage.
Formal qualifications required;
City & Guilds 2361/2 or equivalent / NVQ 3 (HERS/HEA)
Skills required;
Able to use Microsoft Word / Excel and competent in the use of a Tablet
Experience required;
Over 2 years experience in Highway Electrical Installation work.
Good all round electrical knowledge in Fault Finding, Electrical Circuits, Jointing SWA cables.
Personal qualities;
A good team player, able to make decision on own initiative.
